ASCO has developed a solution for the management of large volumes of water produced from North Sea oil and gas exploration, production and decommissioning activities.
Produced water which does not meet strict offshore standards for being discharged to sea, must be transferred onshore for treatment and disposal. In some cases, produced water may also contain Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM).
Our facilities, located on the east coast of England, allow for delivery of large quantities of produced water by vessels to a single offload point.
Following initial discharge and storage, ASCO tankers deliver material to appropriate treatment plants for physical or chemical treatment. We also offer on-site pre-treatment or filtering if required.d
