We are seeking a proactive and experienced professional to lead and manage operations at our Dales Warehouse in Peterhead. This is a key role covering all aspects of warehouse management, including planning, facility oversight, and resource coordination. The successful candidate will also oversee contractor personnel, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and resource levels are maintained effectively. Strong leadership, organisational, and team management skills are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities include:
•Ensuring company objectives are known, understood and communicated to operational teams.
•Ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained and that operational availability meets operational demand.
•Leading on best practice, sharing positive outcomes and approaches with the wider business.
•Offer operational support and cover for employees at the Warehouse and Quayside if and when required.
•Lead relevant operational transitions as applicable and lead on all aspects of the associated management of change.
•Responsible for planning and managing third party work activity on site. Must have an extensive knowledge of Risk Assessments / Method Statements and be able to review such documents for compliance with legislation / Company rules. Will be required to prepare Work permits on Client system and manage the work activity. Will also be required to deliver training to contractor work party / permit holders.
•Driving HSSE and Operational performance and efficiencies while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and material control.
•Ensuring adherence to all relevant procedures, legislative requirements and industry standards with specific focus on the adherence to the UK Oil and Gas Guidelines.
•Taking the lead on any investigations of service failures, incidents and accidents in order ensure a robust and auditable system is maintained.

•Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics & a detailed understanding of H&S Legislation.
Minimum Qualifications
Full UK driving licence.
IOSH Managing Safely
Desirable Qualifications
Degree level education
Lean Six Sigma qualification.
Membership of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
