Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager. We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Material Controller to serve as the client focal point for users both onshore and offshore. In this role, you will be responsible for responding promptly and accurately to a wide range of queries and issues, ensuring effective communication and service delivery. You will build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders to support the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of warehouse operations, which will include oversight of goods receipt, storage, stock auditing, kitting and staging, returns and repairs, and preservation activities—ensuring all are carried out in accordance with established service level agreements and operational procedures. Key responsibilities include:
•Inventory management focusing on processing work orders, stock movements, returns, items for repair and scrap disposals.
•Coordinate work orders for shipping with the sailing schedule, ensuring timely processing.
•Arrange transportation, inspection, repair or relocation of inventory where required.
•Deliver stock accuracy through recording all material movements on Company/Client ERP systems.
•Stock counting of inventory held, investigating discrepancies highlighted by the process.
•Provide operational analytical information as required.
•Ensure excellent housekeeping is always maintained across the site, with clear segregation between people and plant.
•Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behaviour.
•Responsible for the safe, efficient and cost-effective execution of all ASCO operations undertaken by personnel within the site.
•Assist Team Leader with SID/AIR investigations.
•Maintain and prepare for shipment functions in line with agreed procedures.
•Accurately use the clients and ASCO systems.
•Investigate discrepancies.
•To be a subject matter expert (SME) in key processes and to understand all activity across the operational requirement.
•Promote, and raise where appropriate, LiveSafe Interventions (LSI’s).
•Act as an appointed deputy for the Team Leader in their absence.

•Understanding of Health and Safety legislation
Minimum Qualifications
•Current Forklift License
•Dangerous Goods by Sea (IMDG)
•Dangerous goods by Air (IATA)
•IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
