Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, with a daily half hour break.
The role, reporting to the Contracts Manager, will support the effective co-ordination of all commercial and tendering activity. The key roles and responsibilities are as follows:
- Support the Commercial team, managing administrative tasks, maintaining systems, coordinating projects and ensuring commercial procedures are followed.
- Provide commercial support and guidance to all internal departments as and when required.
- General administration and clerical duties.
- Support Group tendering activities as required during periods of peak activity.
- Provide support to Specialist Services as required with commercial matters.
- Provide support to Key Account Managers as required.
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours):
- Commercial and/or tendering experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- An effective communicator, both verbal and written.
- Confident in managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring challenging deadlines are met without loss of quality.
- Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptive to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the MS Suite and advanced Excel user skills.
- Ability to work stand-alone, demonstrating initiative and ownership, while a positive contributor to the wider team.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Degree educated
- Full UK Driving Licence
