Hours of Work: 37.5 Monday - Friday 0830-1630
Reporting to the Head of New Energy and Net Zero, the purpose of this role is to support ASCO's positioning for growth and success within the global New Energy marketplace and the delivery of ASCO's Net Zero agenda, with the accountability for data capture and reporting residing with the local business units along with decarbonisation projects implementation.
Key Accountabilities, Areas of Influence:
Project Management & Collaboration
•Educate and engage ASCO stakeholders towards Sustainability.
•Foster commitment from all stakeholders in achieving Net Zero.
•Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders colleagues to deliver on ASCO's decarbonisation goals.
•Effective guidance to functions in environmental data capture and reporting.
Strategy
•Support the development of the Group Net Zero strategy.
•Contribute to the Group Strategy planning process.
•Effectively cascade Group Net Zero strategy to ASCO Business Units.
Growth/Strengthen
•Provide market insight in the New Energy sector to the commercial function.
Marketing & Brand
•Develop and articulate Net Zero messaging.
•Represent ASCO on key decarbonisation and New Energy forums to raise ASCO's profile and get market insights.
•Support the creation and the delivery of New Energy and Net Zero collaterals.
Customer relationships
•Strengthen customers relationships by supporting their decarbonisation journey (reporting, joined initiatives, etc)
Product and Service Innovation
•Collaborate with colleagues to develop solutions to deliver on ASCO's New Energy and objectives.
Net Zero
•Work with the Group to drive the Net Zero agenda and specific initiatives.
•Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting on Net Zero targets.
•Champion Net Zero initiatives within the Group.
•Contribute to the Annual Sustainability Reporting process (for Net Zero and New Energy).
•Monitor environmental sustainability regulation landscape (policy, standard, framework, disclosures, etc).

•Ensure corporate governance principles/protocols are always adhered to.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree
Desirable Qualifications/Competencies
Qualification on sustainability, sustainable environmental management and or energy transition.
