Reporting to the Senior Freight Agent, the successful candidate will work as part of the Freight Agency team, primarily receiving, handling and despatching client freight; utilising road, air & sea freight shipping methods when despatching freight to and from their respective destinations/origins. Experience preferrable, but a trainee position will be considered. Roles and responsibilities are as follows:
General
•Ensure all freight is processed accurately using Optima WMS
•Plan and organise deliveries/shipments to ensure that deadlines are met
•Maintain records of all deliveries/shipments
•Ensure correct segregation and documentation of dangerous goods
•Send daily freight reports to clients
•Raise purchase orders using Microsoft Dynamics AX
•Loading and unloading of vehicles/racking/containers safely
•Maintain clean and safe working environment

Minimum Qualifications
•Proficient use of the Microsoft suite
•Full clean UK Driving license

•Forklift license
•Experience working in a warehouse environment
•Dangerous goods by sea
