Hours of work: average 40 hours per week Mon - Fri, 3 week shift pattern (on-call 1 week in 3 including weekends)
As our ideal candidate you will hold responsibility for the safe and efficient unloading and loading of offshore supply vessels, ensuring the allocation of sufficient resources maintaining the highest standards of safety and service. Role responsibilities include:
•Presenting a positive image of the Company through first class service delivery and customer engagement, building effective relationships across the business.
•Responsible for the safe & efficient unloading and loading of Offshore Supply Vessels and the supervision of quayside personnel
•Ensure service levels are maintained by effectively deploying plant & labour and monitoring working hours in line with the Working Time Directive and ASCO policies
•Arrange off-site/adhoc jobs as required, including booking third party plant and labour
•Ensure all staff/agency are trained and competent for their duties
•Regularly review procedures and risk assessments
•Help to minimise operational costs wherever practical without compromising on safety
•Ensure compliance with legislative standards and company procedures
•Liaise with internal clients to understand vessel turnaround requirements and develop the daily plan
•Create and maintain vessel turnarounds (voyages) within ASCO's Integrated Logistics Management System, including arrivals, departures, vessel movements and labour/plant allocations
•Ensuring Vessel's Customs and CERS paperwork are submitted within a timely manner
•Ensure all activities are recorded on the Daily Resource Sheet
Minimum Qualifications
•Education to GCSE level or equivalent
•Banksman/Slinger
Desirable Qualifications
•Counterbalance Forklift certificate

•Computer literate with operator knowledge across the Microsoft suite
