Safety
We never compromise on safety. Ever. It’s that simple. We have a good track record. And we intend to keep it. At ASCO we use a number of strategies and tactics to help us anticipate and assess risk and manage our operations safely. We have a team of qualified HSEQ professionals in each of our four regions who lead this as well as a global HSEQ forum led by Group CEO, Alan Brown, which meets on a quarterly basis to share HSEQ best practice and lessons learned across our worldwide operations. Environment
We strive to reduce the environmental footprint of our operations across the world, notably by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, water and power consumption and waste production. We also encourage a “green office” approach with regards to recycling. Our regional businesses all operate to local environmental and waste management standards, in compliance with the relevant laws and industry recommendations in the countries we operate.
Health
Our health policy focuses on the prevention of risks linked to epidemics, in particular for staff who travel. We also provide healthcare resources and support to all of our people in the form of “My Health Portal”, an interactive service providing health related help via the internet, phone, email, SMS and video conferencing 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
