Reporting to the Terminal Supervisor within ASCO's Fuel and Lubricants business, the role is responsible for delivering ADR Flammable bulk liquids to ASCO customers where required both inland and on quayside, ensuring duties are always undertaken in a safe and efficient manner.

You will be focused on providing the highest standards of safety and operational performance and flexible to adapt to the needs of the business and our customers. Responsibilities of the role include:
•Presenting a positive image of the company through first class service delivery and customer engagement.
•Safely operating vehicles and associated equipment in line with legislative requirements and Company procedures.
•Ensuring the safe collection and discharge of fuel in various locations including customer sites and quaysides, at all times adhering to correct safety and operational procedures.
•Performing daily safety and maintenance checks on vehicles.
•Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within operating areas and at customer worksites.
•Building effective relationships across the business, continually seeking to improve operations and identify cost savings.
•Continuously promoting a pro-active HSSEQ culture, ensuring participation and compliance.
•Proactively assisting colleagues and undertaking ad hoc duties, as required.
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)
•Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with excellent safety and hazard awareness.
•Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapts to changing priorities/deadlines where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
•Flexible when required to amend working schedules to achieve customer service delivery.
•Customer focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Excellent planning and organising skills with a strong attention to detail.
•Solutions based and a pro-active contributor to a culture of continuous improvement.
•Actively promotes a pro-active HSEQ culture, ensuring participation and compliance.
•Ability to work stand-alone, demonstrating initiative and ownership, while contributing to the wider team.
Minimum Qualifications
LGV Class 1 (C+E)
ADR Class 3 in Tanks
Driver CPC
Desirable Qualifications / Competencies
Oil & Gas Supply Chain Logistics experience
Petroleum Driver's Passport (PDP)
