You will work with critical industries—such as oil and gas, renewables, mining, paper & pulp, refining, nuclear, defence, manufacturing and logistics—designing and delivering lean, intelligent solutions in areas like inventory optimisation, warehouse operations, and materials technology deployment.
Key duties include:
•Lead structured consultancy engagements—from operational assessment to solution design, execution, and measurable results.
•Transform materials management practices for new and established clients.
•Identify, develop, and deliver new service offerings and commercial solutions.
•Partner with clients to implement meaningful, lasting improvements in materials flow, warehousing, and inventory control.
•Support the growth of our consulting business by shaping service strategies and expanding market presence.
•Produce insightful consultancy reports, case studies, and client communications.
•Manage and mentor consultancy resources, ensuring exceptional project delivery.
Skills and Competencies
•A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
•Proven experience in warehousing, inventory, or logistics—ideally in high-consequence sectors like oil and gas.
•A track record of leading business transformation or improvement projects using lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
•Strong commercial acumen and client relationship skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence at all levels.
•A solutions-focused mindset, and the drive to deliver real, tangible results.
Desirable Extras
•Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.
•Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, APM).
•Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Maximo, Oracle).
•Understanding of onshore/offshore supply chains or logistics in asset-intensive industries.
