The CCU Team Leader is responsible for offering support and supervision within ASCO's Northern UK CCU operations to assist both ASCO and client operations. Additionally, the role serves as the main point of contact for ASCO's selected CCU provider. Key responsibilities include:
•Provide supervision and support for NUK CCU team.
•Attend and participate in client facing meetings.
•Attend and participate in supplier monthly operations/KPI meetings (SWIRE).
•Work closely with the CCU Fleet controller to prioritise tasks for daily operations.
•Raise and investigate non-conformance reports/SID's in relation to CCU quality & performance.
•Assist with administrative duties including but not limited to CCU tracking, client reports and internal/external queries.
•Work alongside ASCO Northern UK operational business units to provide continual client support.
•Provide detailed assistance for internal ASCO business units for all commercial aspects of CCU.
•Presenting a positive image of the Company through first class service delivery and customer engagement, building effective relationships across the business.
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)
•A proven track record within a leadership role.
•Working knowledge of cargo carrying units.
•Working knowledge of CMS.
•Customer focused and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, both internal and external.
•High level of safety awareness.
•Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and in writing.
•Ability to work stand-alone, demonstrating initiative and ownership, while a positive contributor to the wider team.
•Motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and customer support, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
•Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite and a working knowledge of iLMS suites.
Minimum Qualifications
•CCU certification and inspection training (SWIRE)
