We are seeking a highly motivated Tender Specialist to support the delivery of high-quality, competitive tender submissions across our core Oil & Gas business and growing Energy Transition, Construction, Defence and Consulting markets.
Operating within a fast paced, international environment, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end tender process, ensuring all submissions are compliant, commercially sound, and aligned with our strategic objectives. You will act as a central coordination point, working closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and clients to deliver clear, consistent and compelling proposals. Key responsibilities include:
Tender Management & Coordination
•Lead the coordination and timely submission of all assigned tenders.
•Facilitate tender kick-off meetings, defining scope, responsibilities, timelines, and win strategy.
•Oversee compilation, review, sign-off, and submission of tender responses via the opportunity tracker
•input to the tender timeline providing visibility on opportunities, status, outcomes, and feedback.
Content Development & Quality Assurance
•Lead creation of compelling written and visual tender content, including graphics.
•Write new material, repurpose (and maintain) library content, and refine stakeholder inputs.
•Ensure responses meet regulatory, commercial, legal and technical requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
•Work with operational units to improve data quality.
•Align tender narrative with pricing schedules and commercial assumptions.
•Coordinate SMEs ensuring adequate review time.
•Collaborate with HSSEQ, HR, Legal, Sustainability, Graphics and Marketing teams.
Client & External Engagement
•Serve as primary client focal point during tenders.
•Lead post-tender negotiations and support pre-contract discussions.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
•Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain or Commercial Management).
•Demonstrable experience in tendering, proposals, or commercial roles within Oil & Gas or related sectors.
•Strong written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and structured manner.
•Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
•Effective stakeholder management and coordination skills.
Desirable
•Experience within energy transition sectors (e.g. offshore wind, CCUS, low carbon projects).
•Exposure to Construction, Defence or Consulting environments.
•Familiarity with UKCS regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
•Knowledge of standard contract forms (e.g. NEC, FIDIC, LOGIC).
•Client-facing experience with operators or major contractors.

Systems & Tools
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Experience with tender management systems, CRM platforms, or opportunity trackers.
•Experience in developing visual content (e.g. Visio, Power BI, Adobe) is advantageous.
