Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with a daily one-hour break.
The Inventory Focal Point is responsible for leading and managing the Client Team in the delivery of services to the client in accordance with ASCO policy, procedures, work instructions and agreed service level agreements. Roles and responsibilities include:
•Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with client contacts to assist with the efficient operation.
•Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Warehousing Team and ensuring adherence to all relevant procedures, legislative requirements and industry standards with specific focus on the adherence to the UK Oil and Gas Guidelines.
•Ensuring the team has adequate resource (in terms of quality and quantity) in order to achieve set goals and contractual obligations.
•Ensuring all equipment and facilities are maintained and that operational availability meets operational demand.
•Assisting with the investigation of all service failures, incidents and accidents in order ensure a robust and auditable system of continual improvement.
•In conjunction with the Warehousing Manager, contributing to the analysis and reporting of relevant information that will inform the continual improvement process.
•Producing periodic reports in accordance with customer/management direction.
•Preparing for and attending meetings, in order to represent the needs of the team and the customer as required.
•Ensuring the service from the team meets customer expectations, in conjunction with SLA, KPIs.
•Inventory management, focussing on processing work orders, stock movements, returns, items for repair and scrap disposals.
•Acting as an Inventory focal point for users both onshore and offshore, responding quickly and accurately to issues/queries raised.
•Tracking client material through the Maximo system, interrogating the system to check on movements and history.
•Delivering stock accuracy by operation of the Maximo system.
•Stock counting inventory held, investigating discrepancies highlighted by the process.
•Ensuring goods are receipted and packed in accordance with offshore matrices.
•Management of annual leave, sick leave and other kinds of leave.
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)
•Maintains positive work relationships.
•Previous supervisory experience
•Extensive experience of warehouse operations
•Supply chain and logistics experience.
•Understanding of HSSEQ legislation
•Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
•Practical understanding of data entry and reporting applications, specifically Maximo warehouse transactions and processes
•Solutions based with strong planning, organising and numeric skills, and an excellent attention to detail.
•Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities and emergency situations, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
•Motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and customer support, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
•Ability to work stand-alone while a positive contributor to the wider team.
Minimum Qualifications
•Current Forklift Certificate
•Dangerous Goods by Sea (IMDG)
Desirable Qualifications
•CILT qualification
•HSE Related Training
•VNA Forklift Certificate
•Electric Counterbalance Side Loader
