ASCO are seeking an experienced Materials Coordinator who will serve as the main point of contact for all offshore platform related material requirements within the client's materials management operating function with emphasis on customer support and the timely tracking and delivery of materials. To perform material planning and coordination activities with a focus on accuracy, quality inputs and optimisation, and to cooperate with stakeholders (Deck Crew, OIM, OMC, OTL, MTL, Albert Quay, Logistics, Marine) and other MM/WH teams
Applicants must have existing experience in Warehousing and Materials Management. Offshore experience is mandatory for this role. Key responsibilities include:
•Coordinate and prepare for materials arriving (airfreight or vessel) by reviewing the manifests in advance and creating a plan for receipt of materials.
•Responsible for receipting outbound manifests in WELS (KABAL) client system.
•Confirm accurate receipt of material, paperwork and manifest and undertake basic quality assurance check on documentation.
•Work closely with Deck Crew and Logistics resulting in efficient and productive operations.
•Keep accurate receipt records and update SAP system processing IBD's, 902's, Bin-to-Bin's in a timely manner.
•Route and store materials in the appropriate location for Inventory, Bench Stock, Maintenance Order materials and vendor owned equipment.
•Notify HSEA of any radioactive sources on route to the platform.
•Carry out routine Inventory stock check once per rotation that by the end of the year will total to a full inventory running count. Any discrepancies are to be investigated and reconciled.
•Pick and stage Maintenance Order materials for collection in line with the plan.
•Issue of materials from stores using SAP.
•Record locations of MO related material on Material Tracker IMOM.
•Liaise with deck crew and ensure materials are ready for container packing.
•Responsible for ensuring that the correct documentation is provided in compliance with the Dangerous Goods Regulations and Waste/Environmental Policies.
•Responsible for generation of consignment notes and ensuring SAP transactions are completed accordingly.
•Responsible for generating accurate inbound manifests in WELS (KABAL) client system.
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours)
•Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
•Experience of using Maximo/SAP or similar ERP system.
•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing workloads and priorities, without compromising high standards
•Customer focused, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal & written
•Strong attention to detail and excellent planning and organisational skills
•Solutions based, motivated to achieve the highest standards
•Ability to work stand-alone while a positive contributor to the wider team.
